Papeles picados
A union of two folk traditions

These papeles picados, meaning "perforated paper" in Spanish, were each cut delicately by hand; over a dozen stacks of colorful tissue paper cut precisely with a sharp X-acto blade. The elaborate, decorative paper flags play an important roll in Mexican folk art and culture, celebrating deceased loved ones each year during Day of the Dead celebrations.

Streaming through a Midwestern bluegrass show which fell right around the time of Day of the Dead, these bluegrass-themed 'papeles' added a splash of color and culture to the event.

Haba Waba
A hardcoresport® partnership for the 2015 waterpolo tournament

Partnering with Hardcoresport and the Haba Waba waterpolo organization, I designed a branding system, giving the 2016 international tournament a new mascot and identity. Contacted by Haba Waba, hoping to implement an octopus logo, banners, medals, swimwear and caps were assembled and given to young players from every corner of the world, all unified under the Haba Waba logo.
